The amount of area he could cover in a day, we used to call it 1 acre.
So, now we have seen that the length was equal to 1 per long which is approximately 220 yards or we can call it 660 feet and its breadth was roughly equal to 1 chain which is approximately 22 yards or 66 feet. Now if we measure its area, then 1 acre was equal to 1 furlough * 1 chain. So this becomes 10 change * 1 chain, so basically one acre equals 220 yards. We have also seen here that this per long is 220 yards * one chain which is 22 yards, so it becomes 4840 square yards. Now if we measure it in feet, it becomes 660 feet * 66 feet, so it equals 43560 square feet, so this is your one acre.
